Nine-year-old Schascha loves books more than anything, and one day she meets Carl Kollhoff, a quiet bookseller who brings books to the people of the town. Fascinated, she accompanies him on his daily rounds and becomes part of his special mission. Together, they bring stories and hope to others—until Schascha herself has to show just how much courage, heart, and strength lie within her and within the books.
